At Care Garden Therapy we specialise in Positive Behaviour Support. We genuinely care about the people we work with and focus on practical, strengths-based strategies that help individuals feel more confident, connected, and at ease in daily life. We currently have immediate capacity for Positive Behaviour Support and are warmly welcoming new referrals.
We work with all ages and are committed to culturally safe, trauma-informed practice. Our PBS practitioners have experience partnering with First Nations peoples (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities), people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, forensic clients (including those seen within detention and justice settings), and outreach clients across home, school, and community environments.
Our approach is person-centred and collaborative. We listen first, set meaningful goals together, and co-design strategies that are doable in real life. You can expect clear communication, compassionate support, and plans that prioritise quality of life, skill-building, and reduced reliance on restrictive practices.

PBS is a compassionate, practical way of understanding why behaviours happen and helping people feel safer, calmer, and more in control. We focus on building skills, adjusting the environment, and strengthening communication, so everyday life works better. PBS is done with the person and their support network and is collaborative and aims to improve quality of life while reducing behaviours of concern and the need for restrictive practices. It’s strengths-based, respectful, and tailored to what matters most to you.

At Care Garden Therapy, we are committed to making the referral process simple, supportive, and
responsive. We currently have immediate capacity for Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and welcome
new referrals from families, service providers, schools, and community organisations.
Care Garden Therapy acknowledges the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation as the Traditional Custodians on whose land we provide our services. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
